New Church Directory!
We will begin work on our new parish photo directory in January. Portraits will be taken on the 20th (Friday) and 21st (Saturday) of January. We are doing scheduling between services and after services currently, or you may go online by clicking here to register for your portrait time.
Oktoberfest
Our next annual Oktoberfest celebration is Saturday, 6 October 2012, from 11AM-5.30PM. We will have German food and drink, auctions, entertainment (including a live band in the Biergarten), and fun activities for all ages. Tickets go on sale for the meal in late August. There will be sign-up sheets in the narthex for workers for the event, so find your niche and join us in fun and fellowship as we work together to make our next Oktoberfest even bigger and better!
Confirmation classes meet on Wednesday evenings from 6.30-7.30pm. Confirmation class is open to anyone in grade seven or above. Confirmands MUST be regular attendees at worship and at Sunday School. In Sunday school they will learn Luther's Small Catechism; in Confirmation class they will learn about Lutheran history, worship, other Christians, and about living our baptismal promises.
Educational Opportunities
Christian Education is offered for all ages on Sunday mornings during the academic year (September-May). We have classes for pre-K and Kindergarten, for 1st-3rd grades, 4th-6th grades, and junior high / high school, as well as adults. There is something for everyone! Come and join us as we hear from God's Word the divine, loving purpose for us and for all creation! |
